ABOUT US

Gracie Barra is one of the world’s largest and most influential Jiu-Jitsu organizations, leading the way in excellence, discipline, and community. Founded in 1986 by Master Carlos Gracie Jr., Gracie Barra has grown to over 1,000 schools worldwide, empowering hundreds of thousands of students - including numerous World Champions.

We are a global family committed to personal growth, leadership development, and making Jiu-Jitsu accessible to everyone, regardless of age, background, or experience.

MISSION STATEMENT

We seek to train body, mind and spirit through the highest level of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction.

We envision the art as a vehicle for individual development and the strengthening of the family spirit, going beyond the winning-losing or contest philosophy. – Master Carlos Gracie, Jr.

GRACIE BARRA KUNA

That mission comes to life here at Gracie Barra Kuna, under the leadership of Professor Beto and Professor Fabi.

Professor Beto has been on this journey since 1998, with 9 years as a black belt dedicated to teaching this art. His experience on the mats is matched by his commitment to passing on not just technique, but the values Master Carlos Gracie Jr. describes above — discipline, growth, and family.

Professor Fabi leads our Women's Only classes and teaches across several other programs at the school. With a background in nutrition, she brings a well-rounded understanding of the Jiu-Jitsu lifestyle — helping students build not just skill on the mats, but healthy habits that carry into everyday life.
